Harry Lasser

Harry Lasser graduated from DeKalb County High School in 1989. He attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville from 1989 to 1993 graduating with Honors. Harry double majored in Political Science and Sociology with a Criminal Justice Concentration. Harry then entered the University of Tennessee College of Law graduating in 1996.

Harry began his legal career with the Law Offices of James A. Flexer in Nashville, Tennessee where he spent five years representing thousands of bankruptcy clients and numerous personal injury claims. In 2001, Harry returned to the Upper Cumberland with his family to continue his practice and raise his children. While living in Smithville, Tennessee, the Law Office of Harry G. Lasser IV is located in Cookeville, Tennessee serving the entire Upper Cumberland area. In 2016, Harry was able to expand his practice by opening a second office in Crossville following the retirement of Howard Pick. Mr. Pick asked Harry to take over his practice to insure his clients would have a knowledgeable and experienced attorney. Since returning to the Upper Cumberland, Harry has had the pleasure of helping numerous friends and families deal with bankruptcy issues.

Harry is a longtime member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the Middle Tennessee Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association. He currently handles consumer bankruptcy matters in both the Middle and Eastern Districts of Tennessee for folks living in the following counties: Putnam, Cumberland, White, DeKalb, Overton, Fentress, Pickett, Jackson, Smith, Cannon, Macon, Clay, Trousdale, Wilson, Van Buren, Warren.

Harry is also a member of the First Smithville United Methodist Church. He is a past board member of DeKalb Youth Soccer and has coached soccer for many years. He also is a past member of the DeKalb County Election Commission.
